Introduction to the Netherlands This is a 2-day group workshop from eight hours, designed for foreign employees and their partners who are posted to the Netherlands. It prepares the participants for life and work in the Netherlands. The workshop provides information on Dutch culture and society, the differences between the participant's own country and the Netherlands, and their influence on daily life. The workshop aims to give the participants a better understanding of the Netherlands, and enable them to communicate effectively with the Dutch people they work with and meet in daily life. The workshop contains briefings on Dutch society, history, politics, and geography and leisure activities. There is also attention for the consequences of living as an expatriate, particularly the changes in personal perspectives that come about through living abroad – ‘culture shock'. The workshop is interactive and takes a personal approach, allowing time to answer the participants' questions and deal with their particular situation. Workshop price
